Hello. My name’s
Anthony Crossey. I used to go to my uncle’s
workshop every weekend to help him out and it’s there at the age
of 14 that I knew I wanted to be a carpenter.
For the next five years
I worked alongside my uncle all during the summer months. He’s
a very talented man and I learned so much working alongside him. Beginning
at the age of 16 I attended Irish Trade School
for 3 years, receiving the best formal carpentry education possible.
Spending summers working alongside my uncle put me a few steps ahead
of the game in trade school. There we learned carpentry the old fashioned
way with handsaws, chisels, and block planes. We didn’t have the
luxury of electric power tools.
Having
completed my studies at 19, I journeyed around the world looking for
the best place to hang out my shingle. I have been in Boston 9 years
now and absolutely love it. I have collected a hard working, professional
skilled crew that works along with me to produce the highest quality
work. We have ranged all over the metropolitan area - Newton, Wellesley,
Weston, Lexington, Brookline, Back Bay...
We specialize in design and build
custom cabinetry: kitchens, libraries, built-ins, stairs, custom trim
installation, wainscoting, herringbone and basket-weave patterned floors,
coffered ceilings, raised pyramid paneled doors.
Most
of my work comes from recommendations passed on from previous clients
which in itself is a compliment to the high standard of workmanship & professionalism
I instill in my profession.
Please contact us if you
have a project that you think might use our expertise.
